Hi Folks,

I couldn't get a wildcarded filename to work in my triggers. The workbooks have examples using trigger filenames with wildcards but the online references says that wildcarding in only available when running the UNIX version of TNG.

Our filenames will vary from day to day because the date is a part of the filename.

Is there any way, in the NT world, That you can submit a jobs based on received file when the date is part of the filename.

Regards,
Mike

Why don't you get whatever it is to just place 2 files:
One that is the real file with the variable name, and one that just acts as the trigger, that has always the same name and is deleted as part of the job.

Thanks jonnoGT. That is pretty much what we did. Once the file was received the job would create the trigger file. Once the job was run that trigger file was deleted.
