Working with Paradox 9 on Oracle

We are currently using paradox 9 on Oracle . We have some major speed issues and were wondering if anybody had any BDE tuning tips or any good drivers that we should be using . We are currently using sqlora8.dll and the OCI.dll . Please respond to f_de_wet@hotmail.com .
