Greetings,
I am working with an image that has several layers both colored and vector shape. This image will eventually be mapped to a 3D model. However I need to have both left side and right side of the image for mapping. I have done all my work on the right side. That also includes the correct orientation on fonts and numbers I will apply for what will eventually be the left side. What I can't seem to do, is with the correct layers set to visible for the left side. I am not able to select all visible layers at the same time for a mirror operation.
Currently I have to merge all visible and save as bmp. Then select the image and copy it to a new raster layer. I then go back to what was my multiple layer image and undo, undo, undo. Set layers for the right side and merge all over again. This is starting to become a great pain. Can anyone offer a way to select all layers that are visible and then mirror and position them as needed.

Thanks inadvance for any help on this.

You can select multiple vectors by holding down the shift key and selecting the individual vectors from the layers window.

A quick way of flipping raster layers would be to do a Ctrl-A to select everything on the image select the first raster layer and then hit Ctrl-M to mirror, now select (in the layers window) the next raster layer and hit ctrl-M and so on. Finally just select all the vectors using the shift key technique above and hit Ctrl-M.

If you want the right / left side to be in seperate images then first sort out the right image, hit Shift-D (to duplicate the image) and do the flipping stuff above to get your left side...

Hope this is of some vague use!

Hi PetitPal!!

Thanks for the response. I found that by only showing the layers or vectors I want. I can do an Edit Copy Merged. This allows me to then past as a new layer back on to my image. This seems to work well for what I want to do.
Once again thanks for offering advice.
