Using layers
Have one image in layer one
how do i get a different image into layer two

it's very simple..just click on layer2 in the Layer palette to insure that it's active with u..then put ur image.

You have your 'layers' document open. Now open the file of the new image. Drag that image on to your 'layers' document and it will automatically produce a new layer.

I have been activating layer1 first then trying to drag the second image on to it. no joy.
