hey everyone,
i am very new in photoshop and i am stuck on one thing. after i create a new layer how can i add a jpeg picture to it. i am working on a flyer. in which i want to add different picture on different layer.
thank you

Go to Layer and pick "New Layer" or shift-control N

i know how to get new layer but how do i add a picture tothis new layer

Click on layer to make it active. File menu/Place or copy/paste into the new layer.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4

With your main pic open:

open another pic > select all > copy > past onto your main pic (it will automatically place the new pic on a new layer)
