Working with Cognos 8 vs 7

I've worked with Cognos 7, but nowadays everbody works with cognos 8.

Is it easy to work with cognos 8 if you have cognos 7 experience? Or are there too much differences?

OLAP is very much the same as the 7 series technology is ported to the 8 product. C8 Webbased development has almost zero reference to the old client product(s). Prepare for it I'd say. Patience is required

we are very new to Cognos. I have a quick question - we are in the process of converting 6.6 cognos .mdl to 7.0 and having a difficulty finding version 7.0?

can you help ... How to find the CD of it?

This is really ancient! We basically have version 7.3/7.4 lying around. Never even seen 7.0

Are you aware C8 has been on the market for 3-4 years now?

7.0 is out of support since Dec 31st 2004
The only supported version of Cognos Series 7 is 7.4
