Working Direction

I'm using Adobe Illustratot CS (middle east version) and from my 'normal operation' that I was using the text and working direction has reversed i.e. from left to right to right to left.
How do I correct this please - I have tried Type>story direction>right to left, but this doesn't do it?

...i don't have CS ME edition so i'm only guessing...
