Hi All,

I created a simple DB and converted it to .mde, password protected the VBA mod and hide everything. I then allowed people to download a Demo Version.

A couple of people are getting "can't open ____ workgroup information file".

I didn't create a workgroup and don't require that the user login to use the program.

Any thoughts as to why this is coming up for some users, but works fine with others?

This forum is for Access Data Projects (ADP) that normally have a SQL Server backend. Workgroups aren't a feature of an ADP so you might have more chance of an answer in one of the other Access forums.
