I am trying to point a new users Workgroup Templates in MS Word to a network location.
I go into Word, click on Tools / Options / File Locations then highlight Workgroup Templates and click on Modify.
It then lets me browse to the location I want but when I select the location I want the Workgroup Templates to point to nothing happens.
Instead I am taken back to the Options window where the Workgroup Templates entry shows as blank.
The user has full access to the network location where the templates are. She can map a drive to the location manually it just wont hold on to the setting when she does it via Word.
Has anyone come across anything like this before?
