At work, we have Pure TCP/IP , NT Network System. and our company is setup to WAN. All our branches are on Different Network ID. like
Main brainch - 198.11.38. x
other sites - 198.11.39. x .... so on...

My question is a'm able to ping computer of other sites from NT server, but i cannot see their computer names in Network Neigbhorhood at NT server. All clients using WIN98, having their own WORKGROUP - configured with STATIC IP, WINS, also able to LOG INTO our MAIN DOMAIN.

How could i make this work so i could see other sites workgroups too in NT SERVER DOMAIN.....

Thankyou in ADVANCE..... For your advise

To start with, make sure all your workstations workgroups are set to be identical to the domain name. Jeff

I haven't lost my mind - I know it's backed up on tape somewhere ....

After verifying the workgroup name,
Install a WINS server in each subnet, and let both WINS servers replicate (or let the server running WINS also use the IP address of the WINS server 2 as secundary WINS (TCP/IP properties) + reboot both servers
