I have a user who is on a separate domain(Windows) at a different location. I am trying to get access to a database from our location in which we use Novell. We just setup a VPN there and can see files here. The problem is we just have a workgroup and theirs is a domain. The administrator at the location said the only way it would work is VLAN into this. Is there any other possible scenerio that we could take securely? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Workgroup and Domains are irrelevent when trying to access a database. The question is kind of vague, but if you just need to get to the Database (such as through Access or another database query tool), then you need to setup a DSN on your side with the correct username/password that is given to you by the Admin of the other site.
