Hello,
I have a sharepoint site where a newsletter is published every day. the person who publishes it uses MS Publisher to push the document to the site. I would like to have it set up so that when the person publishes it, the newly published newsletter will appear on the site (it will have to be checked in). I would also like to keep an archived version of every newsletter that employee can access.
Could anyone recommend the best way to do this?
I assume I should create a workflow, but I haven't been able to get anything working.

Thanks

Sounds like you just need a document library?

Just setup a document library ( and turn versioning history on)

set the document template up as whatever ms publisher document they use correct?

The person who publishes the newsletter would just have too open a newletter file from the doc library edit it, then save it. The versioning history would save and seperate files with the same name as well???

am i totally off base? lol...

That sounds correct, but what document template would I use for the library? There is not a template for publisher. Would I just use a Basic Page template? Or is there a way to add a new template?

Thanks
