Hello,
I am trying to create a workflow through spd, but am having some trouble with it.
I have 3 document libraries, 1 for draft, 1 for submitted, and 1 for approved. There is an infopath form associated with the draft library where users can create a new reqeust, save it, and edit it. when they actually submit the InfoPath form, it is submitted to the Submitted library via the submit options in InfoPath. Once the new document is created in the submitted library, I have an approval workflow set up.
My theory was that I would set up a workflow in SPD to monitor the "Approval" field associated with the workflow for the submitted document library, and when it is changed to approved, I would copy it into the approved document library.
I built this workflow in SPD, but when I submit the document and it shows up in the submitted library, it seems to bypass the approval workflow and skip directly to the SPD workflow where it copies it to the approval library. It seems that when the InfoPath form is submitted, it is coming in with the approval field already showing approved and automatically kicking off the SPD workflow.
Does anyone have any idea why something like this may be happening? Hope my explanation is clear.
thanks for any thoughts.
