Workflow continues to send email after list item is deleted

looks like i have the same trouble as in thread820-1530325 , to bad for me that thred never got finished..

A workflow has been removed, there are no more tasks, but still users recives email notification that a task is over-due.

The link to the supposed task only ends up in a 404.

Any help would be appreciated.

did you try deleting the Tasks List and the List/Library that the Workflow was associated with?

The task list is also removed. well, this is in the hands of microsoft now, ill get back when this is working as it should.
