WorkCentre 7232/7242 banner sheet is off but still prints banner

Hello guys;

This is really strange; my Clint has Xerox WorkCentre 7232/7242 and the banner sheet will not stop printing.

- I tried disabling the banner sheet and it is disabled by the Xerox control panel but it still dose it.

- re-installed the driver - downloaded the new drive from xerox and replaced it with the new one but no luck.

any suggestions ?

If memory serves me correctly, there are two places that you need to disable the banner sheet. The first is at the Xerox Control panel and the second is in the Printer Properties of the printer UI. I believe that you will find the options on the Advanced Properties tab. I don't have that particular printer available to me a the moment to check.

Also, are you experiencing problems printing from all programs or just specific programs? I had a couple of programs that would print the banner sheet no matter what I did to turn it off.

Thanks cmeagan656, I actually double checked with the client and they turned to be using Citrix XenApp when they try to print and for some reason the local settings will not hold when the citrix printing session was created.

So I had to take ownership of the printing session on the citrix server then add my self as admin and then disable the banner sheet option and finally ask the user to logoff and logback in and that fixed it.
