Yeah, I know this is an old machine with a bad reputation, but it's been a good one for me ..... until NOW.
A while back, the color print head went bad and started streaking real bad (the mylar strip around the outlet delaminated), so I simply quit printing color. Finally got around to getting a new color print head, installed it and now it will not print any color at all.
I've read the other old posts about this problem and have seen mention of the printheads being fused. Where & how to get at 'em?
I've run "clean print head" multiple times, with no success, have cleaned and reinstalled the old printhead that did work (albiet poorly) and spent mucho time searching for possible solutions on-line. Even printed out the user manual for the M940's sister machine - the Sharp AJ-6010. Now, it's become a obsession to get this problem fixed. I'm not ready to trash this machine just yet.
Any and ALL suggestions are much appreciated!
