I have a deskjet 6540.
It is capable of PCL 3 as I understand.

Is there a workaround for the following code that works on
most laserjets

Ec*c720h720v20g2P

This prints a shaded area 1 inch by 1 inch.

About the closest approximation I have been able to
come up with is using symbol set 10U and Chr$(176).
at 10CPI. but I can't always shade the exact area this way.

Any ideas.
