Does anyone have a work around for forwarding huntgroup calls at site A to an extension at site B without having Advanced networking, perhaps using shortcodes? Customer would rather not buy the licenses for one roving employee. Thanks for any help.

No you can't
You need to have advanced networking !

Is it an IP phone? You could try enter the ip setting by hand and use the ip adress of site B. Then that user is part of Site B while he is on Site A.

But it's better that you have ASCN, don't know the config so you could run into other things.

Wait until August 3rd and you won't need Advanced Networking with IP Office R5.

Then he would need the upgrade licence though :) bixtool, avaya are not daft they know the workarounds better than we do and block them, other than Bas's suggestion there is no free solution to this. :)

R5 is free.

Well that's what I thought but on reading closely it says that an upgrade licence is not required for system to run, but it will do so with reduced functionality until you do (whatever that means) :)
