words separated with dash jam together in report - ?

I have a table of account codes with text description. i.e., "Refund - utility" and "Refund - other". When I include these in a report, the words surrounding the dash (or minus sign?) jam together. I've had to go to "Refund: utility" and "Refund: other". Anybody know howcome? Thanks,

Hi Gus,
I just ran a sample here and cannot reproduce your problem. I'm assuming that your description field is a text field and "Refund - utility" is not a pair of fields being "blended" together in a query or on the report. If the latter make sure your "blended" expression looks like:
TheBlend: [FirstField] & " - " & [SecondField]. Sorry I can't pinpoint this for you. Gord
