WordPerfect7 Compare Docs

WIN 2000; WordPerfect7 - when in an open doc and attempt to Compare Docs and redline changes, it tells me the second (original) doc cannot be found -- although it does definitely exist. What's going on? Any solution(s)? Many thanks.
