WordPerfect 8 SpellCheck Error...

Suddenly I'm getting a "Can't load spellchecker resource module - Writing tools internal error" message whenever I try to spellcheck a WP8 doc. The Grammatik function works and the Spell-as-you-go does too.
???
Anyone have a solution?

My guess would be that somehow the module got corrupted. Are you running locally or over a network? I will assume local. First thing is the uninstall/reinstall deal. Remove all temp files before the uninstall, if you know enough about the registry you may want to try cleaning it up manually, but if you do that, be careful; that is not for the feint of heart.

Let me know how that works... When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.

I've solved the problem thanks to DJ Specs:

The work around is to correct the association by editing the Registry.
1) Click Start|Run and type REGEDIT, click OK.
2) Expand HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, scroll down to the folder ".dll", and click on it once to open the values on the right.
3) On the right side is the Name and Data sections. Double-click on (Default) and make sure Value Data has "dllfile". Click OK and close the registry. Start WordPerfect. The speller should run normally now.
