My client won't save documents and runs the risk of losing data. He types stuff in a number of documents and leaves them open - subject to loss if a power outage occurs, etc.

Any ideas how to enable this? Thanks, Dave
 
Take a look at the settings under Tools - Settings - Files. You can create a backup every x minutes in the folder of your choice. These backups are automatically deleted when WordPerfect is shut down normally. They are generally available in the event WP crashes or of a power outage.

Beyond that you probably cannot do much for someone who will not help themselves.
