WORDNET & SARA problems

Hi all;

we have a problem with WORDNET. system has been recording for 10 years and getting call datas with SARA.

we changed "wordnet" and "sara" IP configurations and restarted all systems.

after ip reconfiguration, we tested the systems; there is no problem with new calls but we could not retrieve calls from DDS3.( we have a problem with all old calls on DDS3 before ip changing).

plz consider this; cassette ID was 226 but after reconfiguration ID changed to 42!

Could you help me about wordnet & SARA IP changing procedure.

Try copying the tape first then perform a repair/rebuild through the soft menu backup screen to the copied tape. It may be able to reindex the calls and get you going again.

You can also copy the tape through the recorder in case you didnt know.

Customer has a lot off backup (~500 cassettes) so your solution may take several days..

Do you have any advice for DB? Can we change these IDs by any script?
 
Does the media screen show the date and time information for calls on the tape? Have you tried retrieving on the second DDS drive if it has one?
