I have written numerous word97 documents that include hyperlinks within the document. I have identified the links as Appendix A, B etc. and thus had to add them as I went along. They all worked fine until I had to reinstall Word and now all the links show as an error!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the documents and software on my PC both at work and at home (the home PC is the one that I reinstalled Word on). I could recover all the hyperlinks (at work) if I could find them in the file list, but I can't.

Question: Where does Word97 store hyperlink information
and
Where does Word97 store Macro information

that have been added since the installation.

Thank you so much for your help!

for the hyperlinks, you should be able to right click on the link click on edit link and see where the original files where. Once you find out where they are, you will be able to reset them at work. On your home system, you probably don't have the files that are hyperlinked in the same place so you would have to reset them each time.

As for the macro information in '97 in your program files/microsoft office directory there should be a directory called macros unless you had them going someplace else when you created and saved them.

Hope this helped.
