Hi

I am trying to get Word2000 to do a very basic save as HTML - all I want is simple text, with a few pictures, to be formatted as basic HTML (<body><P><img> etc ).

I do not want resulting page to be a complete web page, with CSS, head tags, meta tags etc, as I am trying to then use the basic HTML as an include in an ASP based site.

Does anyone know whether what I am trying to do is possible? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Thanks in advance

Andy McQuillen

Yep, barking up the wrong tree. Sorry, surprised you didn't get a response before now.

Word's HTML just doesn't work. There are some &quot;converters&quot; out there but I understand they're pricey.

If you have Front Page, use it. If you HAVE to use Word, take the stuff, paste it into Front Page. You'll see a bunch of question mark symbols in Normal view in FP. Delete 'em.

That's all I can tell ya, Andy.

Best of luck to you.
