Someone has reassigned Alt-E to something else. What happens when you use it? It is also possible the shortcut was just simply removed.
You could reset all shortcuts to default. This would get your Alt-E to open the Edit menu back. However, this would remove all non-default shortcuts. So if you, or someone else, has custom shortcuts they would go as well.
Question for everyone. Does anyone know how to cycle through all possible commands (including macros) looking for existing keyboard shortcuts?
