Here is my problem.

I am on a network where we have customized templates to create documents. These templates are located on a server which the users are pointed to.
When trying to create a letter (using our custom templates in word) I receive an error that states: "problem accessing 'Database' (it makes me think a file has been deleted). Error reported by system was: -2147467259.

Now, I checked the mapped drives. Everything is ok. I then went to the properties of "my computer" and checked the path located under the environment variables. Everything checked out there as well.

What would make my computer display an error in word when everything was working just yesterday. Normal.dot is not corrupted.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Are there by any chance any Macros or code in the Normal.dot template? It might be trying to access a database on the Open event.
