word wrap (unwanted) in jiniator 1.1.8.19

Hope this is the right place to post!
(real sorry if not...)


Have a user (NT4 sp6a, jinitiator 1.1.8.19)who uses webforms. When he wants to enter text in a text area, as soon as he types in a carriage return, the text gets all aligned, one character per line exactly

Any idea what's wrong???
Tried reinstalling service pack 6a to no avail...
