Hi All,
I have designed a form as a template (*.dot file) in Word 2002 that I want users to be able to fill in online and email. The form is based on a table whch allows me to format control the layout of an array of labels and word form fields inserted into the table cells.
My problem is this:
In design mode mode I have defined soem word 2002 text fields that have a 256 letter sizing and are therefore potentially going to take up more than one line of text when filled in. In the field definition I have selected the word wrap option and in design mode the text in the field does wrap when it reached the limits defined by the table cell which encompasses it.
Problem comes when I use the "secure form" (padlock) function to prevent users from changing the basic template. When I do this and use the template the word wrap functionality is ignored and instead of wrapping the limits of the table cell are simply extended horizontally
, very messy and definately not what is required.
Has anyone else encountered this and found a way around it? I do have to use Word to create the form other Office applications are not an option.
Thanks in advance
