word wrap in Impromptu

Hello All;

I need to show a field in my report that has 200 chracters and I just have 30 char space in my report. How can I wrap the data to be able to show the whole 200 chracters?

Hey,
Its just as simple as that...right click the data item and go to properties and then LAYOUT tab and then check multi-line with word wrap...then it allows you the whole 200 character set....
Try it out!!

If it's an on-line report (i.e. not a paper copy), I'd suggest a drill-thru report to show just this column. The word-wrap would get ugly fast (i.e 200/30 = ~ 7 lines) and may not wrap at all unless there are spaces in the right places for it to break on.
