How do I get columns to expand and word wrap the data within its field. For example I have a view with a description field, and the data sometimes exceeds the width of the column, so how do I get the column to automatically expand and word wrap the text?

Open the view in Designer and go to the properties of the view. On the third tab, you can change the "Lines per row" from 1 to 9 and select the "Shrink rows to content" option.

Selecting these properties will "wordwrap" upto 9 rows (that is the limit), but only expand the number of rows as needed.

If this column is the last in the view, be sure to select "Extend last column to window width". This may give you a little more room.

Good luck - Craig

If it was a snake it would have bitten my arm off! Thank you for the tip!
