I am new to forums, so I will be as brief as possible. Is there a way to insert a text string that will only appear when the REPEAT AS HEADER ROW AT TOP OF EACH PAGE is enabled. For example, I have a list of subject headings in a table. The first row displays the main heading "Alcoholic Beverages". If the subject list continues to the next page, the main heading is repeated, but I want to add the word "continued" next to the main heading only in the repeated row for tables the extend beyond the current page, programatically. The main headings will change.

Thanks

If i understand correctly what you are asking, this is not possible. The repeated row text takes its value from the original rows used for that repeat.

So if you used:

"Alcoholic Beverages"

from the first row (to be used as the repeating row), then THAT is what is used. You can not add "Continued" to it.

Notice that you can not put the cursor (Selection) in the repeated row. That is because it is an internal automatic row and not accessible.

I do not know what you are asking re: "The main headings will change."

I was refering to the text of the main heading. A table of subjects related to each main heading is generated for that main heading. I was reasonably sure that this could not be done, but not absolutely sure. Thank you for your timely response :)

generated? How? By what? What is a "main heading", when it comes to a table? I still do not understand what you mean, but if my post helped, that is good.
