Suppose you have a macro in Word that takes quite a while. I'd like to inform users of the progress. I've made a label called percent and through the macro I update the caption of the field to tell how far the macro is...
At the start of the script I show the form (I had to show it modeless because otherwise Word won't continue until the user closes the form). Problem is when the script begins, the form pops up as supposed but is all white (due to the working/updating). Is there a way to make this work?

It's just supposed to be a form on top of the document, updating once in a while when the macro reaches certain points...

Nevermind that. form.repaint did the job...

What is wrong with the progress bar control? Look in the toolbox ellipsis (...).

Cogito eggo sum – I think, therefore I am a waffle.
