Word unexpectedly close itself,,,

hi,

I have a problem with our Citrix server farms:

When opening a docfile and copy a row on it..then a few minutes later, the word unexpectedly close itself.

No error..

any idea?

Update your Word 97 to Office 2003!

we have off 2000...

And when the problem occured then an MSI message written into the eventvwr.

Detection of product '{00000409-78E1-11D2-B60F-006097C998E7}', feature 'OfficeUserData', component '{C9AF9050-C8BE-11D1-9C67-0000F81F1B38}' failed. The resource 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Common\UserData' does not exist.

Idea?

We had this same issue with Office 2000; however, we did not experience Word closing. I created the following reg hack to create the missing key and placed it into our login script:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Common]
"UserData"=dword:00000001
"OSAShortcut"=dword:00000001
