Hi...

What I would like to be able to do is this: I have a 1 page A4 Word document (.doc, Word 2000) that I want to be able to save as an image file so that I can imbed it in a report in a database (Not Access). I want the image to retain the .doc files original A4 size.

We do have a scanner but the quality of the reproduction isn't great, but if there is no way to save a word file as an image then I suppose it'll have to do!

Many thanks in advance,

Dave.

Hi...

yep, that was the first thing I tried!!! And unfortunately we don't have photoshop, and using paint only copies the part of the document that is onscreen which is no good.

Cheers anyway

Dave

silly question, can you save your word file to html, and load that into your database?

if it is to be it's up to me

Hi...

No, afraid not.

It'll just have to be the sketchy scan!

Cheers,

Dave

Would it work if it were a PDF?

I use PDF995 to 'print' to PDF for other purposes, and it works really well, but am not sure if you could embed the PDF in the report.

Might be worth a go though.

The question should be [red]Is it worth trying to do?[/red] not [blue] Can it be done?[/blue]

Cheers Willif...

You're right, I can 'print' it to .pdf, then I can save the pdf as a jpg.

Problem solved!

Cheers guys,

Dave
