Word Protected files problem

Hi,

Lots of questions this morning...

I have a word document which was protected.

On one of my users it can't be opened while on another it is possible to read it...

Do you have an idea?

Reformat HDD and reinstall WindoZe.

QUESTIONS

1. are both user using the same version of MsWord?

2. When you say protected do you mean password protected or just a form that is "locked".

3. Is this on a single user system or is this on a network?

3.a If on a network do both users have the same rights?
