Word Pro caused illegal operations

i'm having a problem with WordPro documents. Normally i'll keep / save the files in the server as my folder is shared over the network. when i try to open back the file, it caused an illegal operation which mentioned fault in wordpro.exe

i can't even view the file content, more to open it. most of the files are large in size (30 - 40 pages).

Is it related to any driver incompatibility? as i use few network printers.

WordPro release 9.5, running on Win95, server is Win NT 4

please help. thanks.
