I posted this in the MS Office forum as well.
A client has sent some word documents to me that have charts that I cannot view using word 98 - everything else pretty much shows up. When I double-click on the picture and get the window showing the picture from document, it's super tiny. I tried making PDFs to see if there's was something there, but nothing appeared.
However, I could click and copy the pic and then pasted into Illustrator and scale up about 1000% and see what the authors had used.
Now, when I forwarded the document to a coworked using a PC, they could see the charts just fine.
Is it my older version? I guess a workaround will be opening them on the PC, but I'd like to know what to look for should I come across this again. I'll have to do a bunch of conversions to several documents when I'm finished to get this print-ready.
All help/ideas appreciated.
Thanks,
Donna
