I had a user take an Excel file of 75 email address and merged it using Word's (2000) merge to Outlook (2000). She should have had 75 customized emails.
What happened is that it took one field from the excel file, took one of her pab, and merged the two. The 15 email addresses in her pab got 5 of the same messages, customized with 5 different names (not their own), but from the excel file.
I've tracked each of the messages - and see that they all went out.
Im on Exch 2000 - could this be the cause of my problem? Or is Outlook the root of the problem?
