Word opens in Taskbar 1

I have had this before and can't remember how I solved it. I double-click Word and it opens on the taskbar and will not restore to full screen, if I right-click, the option to resore is not available - why?

Hi,

Try right clicking your word icon and select properties.

Look on the Shortcut tab, and what does it say by "Run", It probably says Minimized, change that to maximised, and Wor should run full screen.

Dont forget to click on apply as well.

Lamaar, there is a registry change to fix this too, so if Paul's suggestion doesn't work, go to the FAQ page (same page as the MS Office question list) and you'll find the registry change in how to troubleshoot Word FAQ that I wrote. Don't do the other stuff--just the registry change part. Let me know if you don't understand.
