Word Macro problem

I have created macros on a word document and need to save it as a template, when i save it as a .dot and then access the template the macros dont show when I click on Alt+F11. Am I missing something ???

your macro probaly got recorded to normal.dot

open your doc, go to tools, templates & add-ins, macro projects tab, copy your macro over to your doc.

missed a step --- organizer button after temp & add-ins
