Word Macro For Clip Art Gallery Import

I have loaded two new programs each of which has clipart that I want to load into the MS ClipArt Gallery. I know that I can do it manually but as there are about 40 different folders each containing about 50 files this will be fairly time consuming.

Does anybody know of a quick way to import the clip art using the folder name as the category, other than importing each folder's files manually. I use the tick box to import all the files in a folder to the same category so I can do the task a bit quicker.

Has anybody got a macro that will automate the task?

Can I access the Clip Art Gallery catalogue file and manipulate it directly?

You could record a macro in word and once, recorded, make a loop and loop thru the folders

Thank you for your suggestion but Word will not record a macro when importing clip art into the gallery. The clip art gallery is an independent piece of MS Office and, for some reason known only to MS, even if you use Word to manipulate the clip art gallery then Word sees this manipulation being outside of Word and therefore does not record the macro.

Please try it!
