Word interaction with coldfusion

I want to Update a Wrod document with coldfusion.<br>
I used a COM object, <br>
With this i can Open a document, but several function such as formfields function don't work.<br>
I wonder if someone was abble to do the link between Coldfusion and Word, and can update some formfield of the word document.<br>
A simple exemple will help me a lot.<br>

Not sure why your messing around with a Word doc<br>
Isn't there a better way?
