I'm creating some simple .htm files in MSWord used on an local network (kind of intranet). These mainly use hyperlinks to direct other users to various files etc. but I now need to display some month-on-month sales information from an Excel file in graphical format on the .htm page.

I'd like the User to be able to click on a Jan button in the .htm page and get the bar chart for Jan sales displayed on the same page, click on a Feb button and get Feb graph displayed and so on.

Is this 'do-able'? ...and is it easily do-able by a simpleton like me?

I did have a thought to create a pseudo display by effectively overlaying 12 pages, each pre-made for a different month which is a messy and cumbersome way of doing it.

All suggestions gratefully received.

hi,

All kinds of ways to do this. My suggestion, in Excel, is to have ONE CHART that has ONE DATA SOURCE. Instead of a JAN button and a FEB button etc, you have a Combobox where you select the month of interest and the combobox click event would fire a procedure (macro) that assigns the AutoFilter criteria for the DATE COLUMN in the chart SOURCE DATA. The chart will only plot VISIBLE cells in the SOURCE DATA.
