word grid lines

Win 7 word 2010. In view>gridlines, is there anyway to control the dimensions of the grid lines? At the moment it looks like 10 units per inch. I'd like 5 per centimetre

Under Drawing Tools, on the Format tab, in the Arrange group, click Align, and then click Grid Settings.
