I've changed the grammar checker settings, and I'm working with a 60-page paper. I'd like to make certain global changes, for example expanding all contractions and making all sentences have 1 space between them instead of 2 (or in some cases more). If I do this through the spell/grammar checker, I have to do it on a case-by-case basis. What I'd really like to do is set my grammar settings and (for certain rules, like spacing, contractions, etc) let MS Word change everything for me.
I suppose I could do a find-replace and use wildcards, but coming up with the appropriate regular expressions is sometimes tedious and hard to verify (especially in a long document). Is there an easy way to do what I want?
Thanks all.
