Good day all!!

I have an odd question. I'm using the drop-down form box in Word, and it appears to have a capacity of 50 characters, including spaces.

Is this true, and if so, is there a workaround so that I can have a string longer than 50 characters?

TIA,

Bob

Go to design mode, right click on the drop down button,
select properties
slide down to maxlength, set this to "0"

from the help file:
"Setting the MaxLength property to 0 indicates there is no limit other than that created by memory constraints."

One other thing,
Macro code could be setting this property to 50, when the form starts up, so ck the form opening event in Visual Basic...

Just my 2 cents, your milage my vary, Good luck
