Hi,

I'm trying to use access to generate a word document. Specifically I'm looking for any sample code on how to generate write text that will be of the form bold, italics, heading styles (or any combination of above)

As well, if anyone know how to generate a Table of Contents using VBA that would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps a method would be finding out how to access the drop down menus within a regular word document.

As I'm completely stumped at this point, any help/advice would be greatly appreicated.

Regards,
Eric

Open up a word document, record a macro doing what you want to do in code, edit the macro and you'll get all the VBA code to do whatever it was that you just did!

Leslie,

That is brilliant! Thanks so much for the quick rep!
