WORD export ! Can not edit text

When export to word format crystal report puts the exported report text fields into little text area boxes in msword. This doesn't allow users of the word document to edit the text as the textbox in msword does not grow and adjust to the text.

Is there a work around for this ?

I use CR 10.

Try using a formula instead of text. A text box is generally used for static values, you want editable values.
