Word document in BLOB.

Hi,
I am able to store, write, read, and DISPLAY unix file into BLOB using LoadFromBfile function of DBMS_LOB. I am wondering whether I can do the same for Word document in Oracle 8.1.7 under Solaris 2.6.
Any tips should be great!!
